CALL FOR PAPERS

Call for Papers for a special issue in JCBS
Dear colleagues,

The Journal of Chinese Buddhist Studies (http://chinesebuddhiststudies.org/) is planning on publishing a special issue on pilgrimage in Chinese Buddhism in issue 29 (2116). We already have four submissions, but is not quite enough for an issue. We need at least two more articles. If you would like to submit an original research article on this topic, please send your submissions to JCBS (jcbs@chibs.edu.tw <mailto:jcbs@chibs.edu.tw>) or to me directly (jyu2@fsu.edu <mailto:jyu2@fsu.edu>). Please see our website for formatting and other submission requirements.

The deadline is November 1, but the earlier the better. We are also looking for an editor who will write an introduction for this special issue.

The /Journal of Chinese Buddhist Studies/ is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the historical study of Chinese Buddhism in the premodern and modern periods. It seeks to promote the academic study, and teaching, of all aspects of Buddhist thought, practice, art, culture, social and institutional life in China, including historical interactions with Buddhist developments in South, East, and Central Asia.

Please don't hesitate to email me if you have questions. Looking forward to your submissions.

Best wishes,
Jimmy
